Liceul Teoretic ELF is hiring an IB programme coordinator

We are hiring an IB programme coordinator for a private kindergarten, located in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The kindergarten is currently into the consideration phase in implementing the PYP, with most of our teachers trained into the ”Making the PYP happen in the early years: Implementing agency” programme. We currently work as an institution with 4 kindergarten locations, 2 primary schools,  gymnasium and highschool.


  • To respect and care for our organizational culture;
  • To use our current knowledge and experience as a resource and a baseline for authorizing the PYP programme;
  • To integrate our current curriculum framework into the PYP curriculum;
  • To work closely with leadership in supporting the educational development of preschoolers and staff, in all our 4 preschool locations;
  • To ensure  the continuity of the programme through developing systems and documentation; 
  • To ensure the information about the PYP is disseminated clearly and effectively to all members of the school and IB community. In addition, the PYP coordinator is responsible for the communication with the relevant IB office;
  • To evaluate and implement all necessary requirements in order to meet the quality standards expected by the IB Programme;
  • To assess the teaching and the learning outcome in the classroom;
  • To make sure that we meet all admission criteria for the PYP IB Programme;
  • To compile and submit the application file as a candidate school for the PYP programme.

Start date: September 1st 2024 (or earlier, depending on the case)

Salary: negotiated upon interview
